Photography Group

Who are we?
Photography Group We are a group of lighthearted people who share and discuss our photos and the use of our cameras and/or smartphones. We also share information on the use of photo improvement software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Affinity and similar products. We know that many people take photos using their smartphone, and that the quality is excellent. So, whether you mainly use a camera or a smartphone; and have some or no technical knowledge on how cameras work, you are very welcome to join us.

When and where do we meet?
Currently, we hold a two-hour, monthly meeting at Oakley House, on Bromley Common, from 10.00am to 12.00noon on the first Monday of each month. However, we do not meet during the months of July and August, and nor on Mondays that fall on a public holiday. In addition, we meet online using Zoom to discuss each other’s photos, from 10.30am to 12.30pm on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month. We do not meet during the months of July and August, and nor on Tuesdays that fall on a public holiday. We also have an occasional group photo-shoot at a selected location on one of the first Mondays of the month, instead of meeting at Oakley House.

How to join us?
We welcome new members and enquiries. Please contact Norman Watson via his email address. He can provide further details, including membership subscription fees, which are waived for the first four meetings to allow new joiners to decide if they want to become a permanent member. Norman will also help you to access and use Zoom, if needed.
