u3a Bromley Guitar Group Entertains at a local care home

In September the u3a Bromley Guitar group took part in a ‘Live on the Lawn’ afternoon of entertainment at KYN care home in Bickley. They were among an illustrious list of artists such as the London International Gospel Choir, the London Festival Opera and Andy Mace, a seasoned West End performer.

The group has a diverse repertoire spanning various music genres such as Baroque, Classical, Folk, Blues, Ragtime and Pop.  As a finale, they encouraged the audience to join in singing “The Bare Necessities”, very appropriate for what was an extremely hot afternoon.
